For years now, waist beads have served a plethora of purposes for me—manifestation, connection to self/divinity, weight management etc. however, one of my personal favorite reasons to wear crystal waist beads is for adornment. I love how they hug me ever so gently, highlighting my curves and the softness of my body—my femininity. I feel beautiful, loved, soft, divine! & I want every other woman to feel this way as well (kids may also wear waist beads guys)!
This upcoming collection was born out of love. Love of myself and my sol tribe, adoration and appreciation for myself and this body but it was also created out of respect and love for my ancestors. The name “Stevie Eyes" has a huge significance in my life. My grandmother calls me Stevie Eyes because I have my late father’s eyes, whose name is Steve. Any time I hear the nickname, I feel love, warmth, strength, a sense of pride and honor. Such simplicity in a name but much significance to me—a tribute to those who came before me. A constant reminder that the strength, courage and fierceness that resided in my ancestors, lives on in me and is poured into the Stevie Eyes Collection. That is the theme of this collection, which aligns strongly with the Solar Plexus Chakra. I hope the Stevie Eyes Collection resonates and calls forth the magic within.
Each waist bead is named after one of my friend’s who have supported me, reminded me of my own power within when I seemed to have forgotten, prayed for me at my lowest but also while I was thriving, & loved and supported me throughout not only my business, but our entire friendship. Tiyana
(Tie-yawn-uh)—Tiyana is for my girls needing some extra protection, in whatever capacity that may be. This crystal waist bead is a reminder of balance—while femininity can show up as a nurturing, gentleness that warms your heart, that same passion can become a fierce, Earth scorching blaze when standing up for the ones they love. Inspiring in the way that she navigates this world with such a delicate balance between soft and fiery, she is proof that you do not have to choose one version of who you show up as in this world.
